summer, sun, fun, spring, hormones, pheromones. in 2015 my "bootymaster entropy" alias saw the light of day for the first time. the idea was to make a parody of "erotic electronic" music genres, which were always as arousing to me as dismantling a computerchip. i used all the elements of these styles: the vocoder voices, the 808 percussion, the squeechy bleeps and overarching muddy basslines, but used them in a completely numb and desinterested way. of course, the results were then not so un-erotic at all. also with this "joke" project i seriously arrived at something i wanted to do for a long time, to make some real technoid groovy oldschool dance tracks; at which, in my opinion, i always failed in some way before.
but, something was lacking. the hardcore! so this year i made 4 remixes with a more hardcore attitude, and the result is some kind of chemical neuronic hardcore. since i didn't want to just have a "remix" release i wrote a new track, and ended up writing 3 more tracks too. "bummsi bummsi" is classical "jump up and down" gabber, "oh oh" is a similiar affair, in "pussy pussy" the concept of tracks like m*by - 1000 get a new treatment and there is also a longer remix of "bummsi bummsi".
